What is the difference between the Hydro and Coco Grow ranges?

The Hydro range (Lite, Plus, Max, Max+, Max++ and Pro) are open-top grow bags in different sizes. For example, Hydro Max is 30 x 30 x 27 cm. Coco Grow is a coconut coir growing medium in Small, Medium and Large, plus Berry Grow, developed for berry cultivation. The Grow Slab is a 1m slab with 5 planting holes.

Which grow bag should I use for blueberries?

Coco Grow – Berry Grow was developed for berry cultivation. Blueberries prefer an acidic root zone, so check pH and EC when you set up. Read growing blueberries in coir for container size and set-up.

Can grow bags be used for hydroponics?

Yes. Coir grow bags and slabs are widely used in soilless (hydroponic) systems, where water and nutrients are delivered by drip fertigation. The Grow Slab is designed for hydroponic set-ups as well as traditional growing.

How should I prepare grow bags before planting?

Wet the substrate thoroughly before planting so it is evenly moist. For sensitive crops, check the pH and EC of the drainage water before planting. For larger projects, ask us about the right bag size and mix for your crop.
